What Does Your Relationship With Food Mean?

Weight Loss is a personal process, and is related to how you deal with your emotions. Learn more about how you can release the emotions stored in your body with NLP, and enjoy food. Become aware of what emotions you have associated with when you start or stop eating, and ask yourself: “How do I deal with my emotions?”

What does your relationship with food mean?

A relationship is when both parties participate in communication. Well when you ‘feel’ you want to eat to go eat food talk to you by the triggers you have installed in your body. This trigger lights up when you ‘feel’ you want to eat.

Most of the time these triggers are in your subconscious and you only return to acting on them to satisfy you-eat yourself.

Do you know how much food you need to satisfy your appetite? Do you have nudge food?

If you think you are overweight you will most likely not have, clear boundaries, as strong as you desire.

When I ask someone who thinks they have a challenge with food, and I ask them ‘how much food do you usually eat? ‘they can’t answer. This could mean that their consciousness is not present when they eat. When you learn how to enjoy food, you ‘chew each bite and disperse it’ before swallowing so that each bite becomes a part of you.

Most people will deny themselves some food, just because when they start eating they have a challenge to stop. Some people have some limiting beliefs related to food.

A relationship has limits and has confidence. Maybe you will allow someone to touch you by shaking his hand. But maybe you won’t let the same person touch you more intimately. Why that? There are limits that you have and when someone crosses a line you don’t want to be touched. That limit can be crossed only if certain conditions are satisfied. There may also be a belief that touching under certain conditions is a pleasure to you, and under other conditions it is not.

How does your mind ‘learn’ this limit and this belief? How strong is that limit? Is that boundary in your conscience or subconscious mind? Does this belief give you energy?

If you will take the time to learn what relationship to food you have – you can also discover what emotions you link to food.
Are there emotions that are too strong for you and you avoid paying attention to them? When those emotions are present do you choose to eat?

With kindness and in a safe environment people are encouraged to live this emotion fully, until they get out of their bodies.
